Following Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s suspension of his presidential campaign and endorsement of Donald Trump, former campaign staffers have established the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) political action committee (PAC) to rally Kennedy's supporters behind Trump. The PAC, comprising about a dozen ex-staffers, including many from the campaign's former field team, aims to mobilize grassroots support, particularly in swing states where Kennedy remains on the ballot due to ongoing legal challenges, as well as in blue states where they believe their volunteer base can significantly impact the election. Jeff Hutt, the PAC's spokesperson and former national field director for Kennedy's campaign, emphasized the need to redirect their collective energy toward securing a "unity ticket" victory for Trump, thereby ensuring Kennedy a role in the administration.
The MAHA PAC plans to engage voters at the grassroots level to persuade them to support Trump, with aspirations to raise sufficient funds for media campaigns in key states like Virginia and New Hampshire. Kennedy, who initially suggested that his supporters vote for him in non-swing states, has since urged all his supporters, regardless of their state, to vote for Trump to secure a decisive victory and avoid a disputed election. The PAC's president, Jared Volz, also a former national field director for Kennedy's campaign, leads this initiative, which is described as a "labor of love" dedicated to uniting their base to achieve a common goal. The MAHA PAC is scheduled to file its first financial disclosure report on October 15.
